I have added the sponsor images so everyone can see what that they will not be too obtrusive. Also so the people interested in the forum can see what type of exposure they will be getting.
I will also be adding a forum sponsor section soon.
I just wanted to let everyone know what's up with the changes.
If there are any issues, please let me know.
Edit/Add - I also updated the main page CLICK HERE (http://www.1098-forum.com) to see the new layout.

Also in the works......
A new skin I have been working on..... you will have the option of your viewing preference. (the one we have now will not change other than a few image updates)
it may be ready next week if I get time to finish it.

Congrats on the admin job R1Lover. Site looks great.
My question is, don't Google style text ads make just as much if not
more money for the site? IMO, flashing banners ads suck ass.

sounds great to me, too
like the smaller-than-average sized banners
and skin choices are always welcome
thanks for all that you are doing to keep this the best forum
Again, great job. Thanks for your hard work!

It all depends on the rate. With Google ads you get paid by "the Click" so you have to have them "in your face" in order to get the "clicks". The last thing I want is too much "in your face type ads".
The main purpose here with the sponsors is to create a nice selection of vendors for the members to buy from and receive a discount as well.
We will be very selective on the vendors accepted also, we already have a few in the works that I'm sure you will all be happy with.
and this way a very good question too.. :beer

Yes they have inquired about it.
At this time Phil is waiting until March before anyone will be setup as a sponsor.
