1098-Forum.com would like to ask for your help in making the Holiday Season special for some children who otherwise might not get the opportunity. In August of this year, a massive flood hit the town of Mansfield, Ohio, wiping out the entire inventory of Toy-Time. Toy-Time is an all volunteer organization that takes used toys, cleans and refurbishes them and passes them out to over 2000 children in the surrounding communities. Over 12 dumpsters full of toys had to be hauled away from their site after the flood, making their task for this Holiday Season almost impossible.
Our Goal:
We would like to raise $1098 in order to donate to Toy-Time. Donations will be taken via paypal, and R1Lover and I will cover the 3% fee so that you can be assured your entire donation went to the cause. Once we have met the goal, I personally will get in the car and drive the 175 miles to present a check to Toy Time on behalf of all of us. This will help to make sure a happy holiday season for some children in need, and show our respect to those who volunteer all year long, every single year to bring happiness to others.
I will post a couple links to a few articles, as well as attach a few photos from the flood, so you can read/see about this story for yourself.

How to donate:
**As of 26 Nov, we have surpassed our goal!** Thanks to all that have donated. If anyone else wishes to donate, please send me a PM for the Toy Time address.

I'll try to answer some questions you might have in advance...
1-What about larger organizations like the United Way, or Red Cross etc?
These are great organizations that do a lot of good in the world. However, we felt that with such a "small" donation amount of $1098, it could have a much greater impact on many more lives by going straight to small town volunteer organization.
2-Why Toy Time?
There are so many places we could give, so many other options it would be impossible to choose, we could literally debate it all day. Bottom line, this one seemed right.
3-What are you trying to accomplish?
We are trying to get out beyond the keyboard here and get involved in the community as a legitimate organization. So many forums do the t-shirt or sticker thing, but rarely do you see any (forums) give back. As sportbike riders we need to show our support for the community.
4-What if you get more than $1098 in donations?
The goal is $1098, however if more money is raised than certainly that can only be a good thing and all proceeds will go to Toy-Time.
