I wanted to relate what happened to me yesterday while visiting my sister in Charlotte.I was following her on my '08 Ducati 1098S to my niece's house and managed to paste a huge square-edged pothole. The bike immediately died and the check engine light came on. I called BMW-Ducati-Triumph Motorcycles of Charlotte, where I purchased my bike. I spoke with Bob, the service manager. It was almost closing time but he listened to the problem and hooked me up with Ducati Roadside Assistance. Through no real fault with them, they were unable to help in a efficient, timely manner. I called Bob back, it was now well after closing time, and he arranged to pick the bike up and set me up with a loaner bike, a nice BMW 1200R. I was very appreciative, as I live over a hundred miles away. I called early the next morning and was surprised to hear he already had put the bike on the computer, the problem was diagnosed, and the needed parts were located and about to be ordered. He stated he would keep me informed of progress, and that the bike should be ready shortly after the parts arrive. I receive no special consideration from this shop and can only assume this is typical of the service offered. I do know that when bringing my bike in for service, it is always done quickly, efficiently, and I am quickly back on the road. I, without reservation, recommend Bob and his service department. If you are looking for a place where you are appreciated, and taken care of, I would suggest you give BMW-Ducati-Triumph Motorcycles of Charlotte a try. :1
