Where to stay/eat near Barber...

I'm heading down to Barber Motorsports for a 2 day track event on 8/27-8/28. Was wondering if any of the local members can recommend a hotel near the track and some good places to eat. I'll be there Sun-Wed.

Also how far is the airport to the track?

We normally stay in trussville alabama . They have a nice Holiday Inn . The beds are AWSOME feather top padding. Also there are several place to eat at that exit. Couple of steak places and a Mcdonalds and taco bell . Not to mention a very nice harley dealership. I am sorry , i cant remember the exit number. Nor do I know how close it is to the airport. We drive to the track. The exit of the track has one motel . I have heard it wasnt very nice. And the only other thing is a shell station. The track is kinda out in the middle of no where . Trussville is one of the closest major exits to the track. But its still not a straight shot to the track. You have to change interstates to get there. Its about 15 min away from the track. I generally stay @ Marriot Courtyard of off 21 and 65 or 75. It's a few miles away but there are some nice places to eat there, especially the 'Supreme Grill', it's a Mexican restaurant....really good.
