As you all might have heard Devin is comeing to town and will ride with us on sunday thanks to Ara who is going to loan him a Triumph "sprint".
Anyway it's the usual SHELL GAS STATION TREE 9:00am...
I received an e-mail from some fellow Duc riders that saw our video on youtube and want to ride with us Sunday 749s & 1098, so keep a look out peeps. Looks like a good group is go'n.

Hey guys, I have invited a few new people for the ride, so like usual:
1) we arrive late (ah-la Will)
2) we make them ride in the back
3) Set a fast pace to thin out the group (the usual)
4) take the last table inside, so they sit outside
5) tell them we are going to the tunnel while we ride to the tree
6) act like we don't know them when "Diabloblanco" "aka. clark kent" partner pulls them over. (Note: carry a half smoke cig)
7) then talk chit about them while they get a ticket...

I'll break all my cigs in 1/2 and we can use them as alibis.
1stAnt, let's not take the last table but make sure we get the table that only has enough seats for the main group and don't offer to move to the big "Last Supper" table so they can sit with us. Then we turn our backs on them while we talk about group stuff that they can't possibly join in because they will have no idea and then when we take off, we tell them at the last minute while we're all dressed and we take off without waiting and go down to the tree while they head straight because we'll put the "ROAD CLOSED" sign up at the 9 mile turnoff.
Oh... good times!

Hmmm... I might not last all day, after the track on Friday and slugging it out in traffic today, my arms and legs are sore and dead. If anything, I'll cage it up to say hi so Devin knows that SoCal's got love for him.
I'll wear some white shoes to keep it real.

I meant... oh yeah, Devin, where were you today? I was so sore from the trackday Friday and the long haul from Irvine yesterday and I still made it out today on my 1098s. I am very disappointed at you that I made the effort to meet up with you and you didn't show.

In Will's defense, Devin DID know we were riding Sunday. He was going to borrow my other bike.
But hey, no problema. He must of had something more important to do than riding with his buds.

Actually, I was thinking about going to Pro Italia to get it installed because I want to try out all the SoCal dealers. Who else is left? Beverly Hills? I am not riding 6 hours to Modesto to get my EVO Slave done.

Somebody who bought their bike at BH Duc was telling me that their service department sucked.
I personally have no experience with them and this is just hear-say anyway. :dunno
I hear there's a great service department at Ducati of Maui.

LOL. He really believes that TuonoJohn was acting reckless and cutting people off. LOL. Funny, I thought to cut someone off, you have to be in front of him? LOL. The laws of physics and light must not apply if you are a professional demo ride participant and grand marshal of the event even though Aprilia USA has no idea who you are. LOL.
Ara said he's always like that though. When you're on a ride with him, you better stay behind him and ride according to his instructions and hand signals. Then you better be able to read his mind too because he might get mad just because you thought about riding differently than what he likes. LOL.
Anyway... I don't hate because thankfully I am not stuck wearing a big bright solid yellow helmet like him. Maybe I can get him a 6XL yellow tee shirt (which will be snug on him) and call him Big Bird. LOL.

He wasn't still there. He called me earlier, when I was at OC Motorsports, and warned me about a dangerous rider (Tuono John) at Spectrum. He (Mark, the Grand Marshall) was long gone by the time I showed up.

Yes Arnie. I confess. I've known Mark since High School. He can be a REAL Pain In The A.. He thinks he's Mr Motorcycle and tells me how I should ride. I'm currently questioning why I talk to him at all. This was before the Tuono John incident.
He can be a real nice guy, but when it comes to motorcycling, he's the self proclaimed expert. I am currently trying not to even discuss motorcycles with him.
Mark, The Grand Marshall, might show up at ACH in a couple of weeks. It would be on a Sunday. I'll let you guys know when so he can teach us all how to properly ride a motorcycle. :scooter

Sorry guys, I made the classic mistake of looking into her eyes! I got way-layed (and I mean that in both senses of the word) this weekend by a chick in Santa Barbara. I did miss you guys on Sunday morning, but then I hit it again and went back to sleep! Seriously, I owe you guys one for flaking out. Looks like I have to load up the 1098 and head back down before too long.
