Greetings from Colorado! Im a current owner of an 04 R1 but am eager to trade in for an italian supermodel. Yes the 1098 is the bike i have been waiting for since I obsessed with the 916 back in '94 (when I started riding and could not afford such expensive metal) Im from the Washington DC area but now reside in the rockies, twisty heaven.

Welcome, I am also coming from a Japanese bike(cbr1000rr). It was a great bike and it served it's purpose well. When I saw the 1098 I realized it was time to make at least one of my dreams a reality. Enjoy the site!
welcome! Glad you made it over. I suggest you tell Spalding your first name or he will pester you until the cows come home :)

I live in Bailey, South on 285, and work in Highlands Ranch if anyone wants to ride, after our snow storm blows through that is. I'm riding an '04 ST3.
