Here is the ride we will be going if anyone is interested in joining up.
CLICK HERE (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=Yuba+City,+CA+95991&daddr=grass+valley,+ca+to%3ADownieville,+CA+to%3AY uba+City,+CA+95991&mrcr=0&sll=39.279042,-121.219025&sspn=0.74199,1.834717&ie=UTF8&ll=39.284357,-121.192932&spn=0.741934,1.834717&z=10&om=1) for the detailed map, start time depends on who is going and what time we can agree too.
If it's going to be really hot as it very well may, the start time will probably be pretty early :) like 7-8am if that works for everyone.
Breakfast is in Grass Valley where we will meet up with a Friend of mine coming down from Truckee, from there we go up 49.

Devin if there is no interest in this ride or my friend in Truckee can't go then I will come to the bay area for sure... if we do this one then the weekend after this I can come down there too... I would love to ride in the north bay.... :)

R1Lover, I can do either, ride up there or show you around down here.
SoCal's, you bastards owe me! I want to see you weak-asses up here at some point, that way I can show you there are other roads besides ACH!

The lost part is only if we have Japanese bikes with us, then for some reason, we'll split off in different directions and have no cell signal.

:threadjacked Hey! You thread-jacking SoCal's better step off. Clutter up your own posts, us NorCal's stick on topic and organize a group ride in under 10 posts (complete with 1 meeting spot and time, take a lesson!):warning:warning:warning

I'll pm Hans to see if he wants to ride down as well. If we meet at Alice's at 10am, you guys wouldn't have to leave Sac until 8:30 to make it to Alice's on time. This could be fun!

I don't know how close it is but we can make it fit into the schedule, I'm sure.
We're going to PW this thread to 10 pages for NorCal if it takes us all week!

I would love to go on that ride.... but it's 320 miles round trip without even riding other then there and back..... :lmao
I would assume we would do at least 100 miles while riding so that would be about 420 or so in one day. hmmmmmmmm
Not sure if my arse could handle that?

The standard route for the ACH ride is about 85 miles in the canyons, and that's entirely full of twisties! Then it's only 20 miles each way for me so that's like 125 miles riding with only 40 of it being superslab for a ratio of 2 twisty miles to 1 slab mile!
In comparison, Palomar's 7 miles versus the 120 slab miles each way makes it a 240 mile slab ride + 28 miles (2 runs) for a ratio of roughly 1 twisty mile per 9 slab miles.
I'll stick with ACH for the remainder of my street riding career. Thanks.

That's up to the individual 1098 Ducatisti. I start mine with Coffee Bean. It's a bit more exclusive and less commercial than Starbucks for the true coffee snob.
