Hello all,
I've been reading up on this site for a while, but this is my first post. I've had my first Duc for a couple of months now, and I've been wondering where the Bay Area Ducs are hanging out. I haven't been able to make it to the Santana Row night, but other than that what's going on???
If anyone else is out there, lets RIDE!!!!

I ride every weekend. I'm doing a Marin ride today (Sunday) but I do the typical Hwy 9/ Hwy 84 thing as well. I did Mines road and Del Puerto Canyon last weekend. Let's set something up for next weekend, I'd be happy to ride with you!

Sounds like a plan. I used to drive 9 a lot back in my college days on my way to the beach, but I hated going through all of those little towns.
Anyone else want to join up???

Where are you in the Bay area? I will put something together that doesn't make you come to far. We can post it up on Thursday and give people plenty of notice if they want to join us.

Most of the year I'm out of Menlo Park, but for the summer I'm down in Gilroy, but I don't have a problem riding to meet up, although all of the freeway driving I've done lately has caused a flattening of my rear wheel. I guess it's time for a new one.

We could do a Saturday Mt Hamilton ride, that's south bay. We could do the Alice's/9/1/84 loop as well, let me know which you prefer.

Let's do the Alice/9/1/84. I went up the Mt. and it was way too dirty, bumpy, and hot. I've never gone past the Observatory, so I don't know what it's like on the other side.

What's the expected pace? If it's anything above "spirited", I'll have to pass. As long as you are willing to wait for my slow ass, I'm in. Yeah, yeah, I know...ride your own pace...don't worry about others...etc. but it's just not fun when there's a great disparaity among riders.

I ride to the pace of the group, if we're "touring" I'll just take off for a bit and wait at the next obvious spot. It is the street and I love my bike, I won't be looking to break any lap records.

I had a blast today :scooter with Devin and Roberto in Santa Cruz mountains. It was immediately apparent that I couldn't keep up so I just took my time bringing up the rear. Seeing a wrecked Kawi and a wolf/coyote/Kujo/dog thing on the side of the road chilled me out. Devin and Roberto are excellent riders. I enjoyed meeting you guys very much. Hope to ride with you some time again.

I too had a great time. That wrecked bike wigged me out a little too, not to mention my time in the dirt. :shock It was fun watching Devin hardly even lean making everything look so smooth, while I was full-gas, full-brakes, trying to keep up.
I'm up for a ride just about anytime. Let me know.

I had a great time guys! You both are good riders, I didn't have too much of a chance to ride behind you and see what you can work on but I will the next time. I'll ride with you guys anytime!!!
Roberto: I ride every weekend so I can see us hooking up quite a bit, watch the forum, I'll post up the routes and meet time/place.
Vadim: Let me know the next trackday you catch, I'd love to ride with you on track. We'll get Roberto up to speed and get him out there as well, his speed is fine, we just have to smooth out the rough edges!
A successful ride guys, we all made it back with no crashes/no tickets!!! Congrats :greg

I bought a 10-day K@TT ticket pack. I'll be at T-hill next weekend and then at Infineon on 7/9 and then some days in Sep and Oct. I'd love to catch a tow from you some time, Devin.

T-Hill might be a bit hot but I'll see if I can make the Sears 7/9 day.
