Tomorrow is her B-day, and she loves music, so I bought her the Sirius pack (in car and home boom-box). I already have a Sirius radio in my car, and last year when I bought it the price was like $150. I bought this entire set for $80 :duh and it is the good radio where you can replay, rewind etc... She is going to love it, because she likes the salsa/merengue channels. Plus now she can just unplug, bring it in the house and plug back in!

Her vehicle came stock with XM radio, but that blows.....gonna cancel that subscription ASAP. :badteeth

1. congrats on the gift.... well done

2. interesting that you should mention the salsa and merengue
i had my office holiday party last friday night and we hired a couple to come in and teach some latin dance to my staff

my wife (carol)'s mom is from panama.... and carol is a big lover of latin music..... and, a great dancer (i have NO rhythm whatsoever :( )

tell me about YOUR wife's interest in that?

well, my wife is Puerto Rican, so the connection to latin music is obvious :Jiggy

She is a good dancer, but there is a difference between good and trained. So, after much prodding we've been taking salsa/merengue lessons at a dance studio. I've actually come a long way, and we specifically told them we didn't want to train for competition stuff, just to be able to go out to a club and look decent on the dance floor.

wow, phil
that is great
the couple who worked my holiday party has an open teaching night every wednesday about 20 minutes north of here at a local coffee house
we will be going more often
i love to dance.... i might not have rhythm.... but, i DO enjoy myself

carol, is another story
quite a natural and really gets a great deal of pleasure out of the experience... and that makes me happy to see

glad for your lessons... it's a very nice thing for a couple to do together
with the motorcycle purchases that infiltrate our marriages... it's nice to "balance things out" with these sorts of things

kudos to you, my friend

Will do! Just got back from taking her out for a B-day dinner. Lost my ass over some Lobster and Martini's. I went the cheap route (chicken marsala) so I could afford to pay for all her food and drink :hung

Ah well, she is worth it :badgerslayer
