Is it me or does the "New Posts" feature not work correctly?

It can't be broken too bad, you got this post started after all!

If you are referring to the new post feature at the top and bottom of the screen, yes it works correctly. Although we are using the database method of marking the post's as read. This means that once you open up a thread and look at it, it's no longer a new post or thread. It will not be displayed when clicking "new post" until someone else post a reply to it. Some forums are different and that may be the confusion. If you would like to see all post from today, then you can click on "quick links" and then "todays post".

perhaps it is a problem with YOUR BROWSER'S CACHE SYSTEM
try to clear your cache and cookies and recheck

Ah, there you go. I was used to that new posts feature when someone replied to a post it would list them in the order of more recent reply not most recent post read. The reason why I asked is b/c I would post a reply and then check the "New Posts" and my post or thread wouldn't even be listed?!? Any who, thanks for clearing things up.

You're welcome.... yes some forums use that method also, this way when someone replies you will now... if it never shows up that means there have been no replies.
It does make it easy to go through the forum though.
