Yeah, the red ones were too red and will make me too tomato-ish with the red Marlboro suit while the 3rd color combo was more like a putty grey and not white so I stuck with the safe black with red accents to match the bike and my Arlen Ness.
They are a bit narrow in fit and sizes run 1 full size small so I am wearing a size 11US while my normal size is 9.5US. They are almost as narrow as the old Sidi Veterbra Race boots. Unfortunately, I have to say the Astars Supertechs are still the most comfortable boots out there.

Was pink a special order? don't make me start a new thread about ambiguity.
I meant to do that... or did I?
It depends on your definition of what "IS" is. If you mean "IS" as in the present, then no, I did not, but if "IS" was then and is not predicated on the present, then "IS" was not, and I did do so, however, if "IS" was and is cannot be, then what was not can't be!

In addition to knowing the US highway system (Road Scholar), He's a Rhodes Scholar as well! I miss riding with you guys, twisties and a vocabulary lesson every time!

He may even be a Rote scholar (routines) or Rhode Island scholar (smallest state).
I know Bill's routine mainly from late night tv jokes and 1/2 of that stuff is Louis CK. Yep, I studied with some of the finest blue collar jurists.

If you want to ride upfront with the fast guys, I suggest reading the vehicle and penal codes. If you want to hang back with me, you'll have time for War&Peace and the entire set of Encyclopedia Britannica.
But more importantly than semantics and grammar, you need a pair of white boots to fit in , just ask Devin.
DiabloBlanco
06-07-2007, 02:11 PM
Lawman, are you going to bid again on the Ducati gloves on ebay? I assume that was you that opened up the bidding on them. By the way I know the Vehicle & Penal code pretty good. As well as the H&S, WIC, Business and Professions, City codes as well as a few others, and thats why I'll probably be riding in the rear with you.
Notorious DSB
06-07-2007, 02:34 PM
Yes, I did bid but I am not in serious contention because I have 7 pairs of gloves already. I am not too fond of the short cuffs on those dainese gloves anyway. I have to save up for the 07 Corse suit now that I got the boots.
I see that you are also well versed in the arts of the jurisprudence arcana. However, until you can add the water code and fish&game code, I cannot grant full administrator privileges.

Do not become vexed by Will's verbose posts. The illusion of eloquence wears off after you realize that he keeps an unabridged Dictionary & Thesaurus next to his keyboard, which he refers to religiously before succumbing to the allure of intelligence as he scrutinizes each member's post(s).

Don't forget, GP is on at 1030 so we got to be at Nuke's by 1015 to get the good seats in the big room to watch it on the DLP 65" or whatever that is in the big room.
When it finishes at 1130, it will be time to get the seared AHI sandwich. I haven't had that for a few months, it's simply sublime how the tuna melts in your mouth but yet maintains a certain juicy meatiness associated with the tenderest of filet mignon cuts. Man, I'm getting myself hungry again.
