I have been asking for a FAQ section for some time now, as there are so many similar and repeated threads which raise the same old question time and time again, such as what exhausts come with the TC or the "S" etc etc.
Is it not now time to set one up?

The forum Admins are working on FAQ sections I believe, but the fact is the 1098 is not here yet.

Thank you :beer

Yes that much I appreciate, just thought if it were up and running beforehand then it would be a good place to house all the barrage of similar questions about the bike and specs, that seem to riddle the whole forum, as of now. FAQ once the bike arrives en masse in the showrooms will likely be even more forthcoming. I just thought it would be useful to cover the many similar conversations goign back and forth on this forum that in a lot of cases are debating about the same thing. Will the "S" get lighter wheels?, will the TC get the full or the half termis?, what is the official word on the colour choices?, are they going to make an 848?, to name but a few examples. All I hoped was that in the meantime these questions, most of which have already been answered a thousand times, could be lodged in the FAQ section, then if people want to pose questions, they can check out the FAQ and not start a whole new thread that simply covers old ground as that is pointless and tiresome. If it's not in the FAQ they can simply post up a new thread within the section and leave the rest of the forum free for other stuff. I am not having a pop at you guys (the moderators) but I don't see that there is any reason to delay enabling such a feature until the New Year, or until the bike is in customers hands, as judging by the number of enquiring threads on here, I would say we need one now IMHO. Could we not also move those threads that already exist (which cover common questions, such as the "S model differences thread") into the FAQ. If this matter is well in hand and due to be implemented soon, then apologies for this particular post.

AT this point there were a few people who were going to type up the questions and answer....

I haven't seen any of this happen yet so therefore it's not been started.

If you have some facts, write them down in this thread, then we will go through it and pull the information to compile it.

At this time much of everything had been speculation and not facts. So if you guy's want to write up some known facts then we will have a start.

A Faq section, combined with a "How to" section would be great to have. We should take some time to compile the data though, maybe run a few regression analysis' and a Process decision program chart first tho. Biga, you have some homework to do :Jiggy

I will try to compile a list of common questions and answers and post them on here for you to modify, move or whatever.
