Yeah that would be the 3rd, 9:00 shell station. I haven't heard from Will, he must be on a stakeout or undercover somewhere.

Anthony,
I would, but I'm meeting my Adventure Riding buddies in OC. You're more than welcome to join us if you want.
Next Sunday, I'll be at Cal Superbike School for my Level 2 instruction.
The following Sunday I was invited to a "Choppers and Chili" meet at a friends Church. Her husband has a Ducati something and wants to see my 1098.
Anyway, I'll definately see you, Will, Mark and the gang in 4 weeks.
Have fun and be safe (I know you will). :scooter

Is that the Streets of Willow date? I was thinking about signing up for Saturday instead of Sunday (so I have a day to rest afterwards), but maybe I'll do Sunday with you. Have you ever done a Keith Code school? On his website it states: "ALL students start at LEVEL 1 instruction" Not to sound like a cocky guy, but I hope that's not true because it's definitely not my first time on the track and I don't want to spend almost $400 dollars and learn stuff I already know. I'd like to do Level 2 as well. Plus, you get to ride those cool bikes in Level 2; the slide bike, the lean bike, the wheelie bike, etc. which would benefit me more in terms of learning how to push it on the track and the differences between knowing the limit of your tires/bike and coming really close to that limit. I just think Level 1 is a complete waste of $$ unless it's your first time on the track, or you really aren't comfortable riding at a moderate track pace.
Mark,
I took the Level 1 in April. I'll be taking Level 2 on Sunday June 10th. Yes it's at Streets. You'd have to call them up (they're in Glendale) and see if you could skip Level 1.
Their Level 1 isn't for 1st timers on a track. They are building a base on which to progress. It was very informative! Keith teaches more than half the classes himself. 3 riders per instructor. No attitudes. The most well run, professional organization I've ever seen. Very enjoyable. I'll be taking Levels 3&4 later this year. I have one of the best and fastest motorcycles on the planet, I want to be able to ride it well.
But like I said, give 'em a call.
And remember, it's cheaper than crashing! :laugh

June is sold out for Keith at SOW, I called last week.
I'll be riding ACH on Sunday but it's going to be at 830am with a few other guys.
If you guys want to meet at 9am, I'll stall them.
It's been a very busy end of the month. No good stories but a few supporters did put a smile on my face.

Yeah, Mark McKinsey, the salesman at SoCal is a retired deputy. He rides a 999S+ though, not the 1098.

Actually, it's the plaque on his wall that says retired deputy that gave it away.
