No Quarter

Took the 1098S, and a couple of my race bikes down to PIR yesterday and had a blast.
Of course my favorite track tool (my very well sorted Factory R aprilia with 100mm pistons, STM slipper, and many other upgrades) sprung a major leak in the pressurized fuel line...
So no riding that bike...Dang!!!
That left a '06 GSXR 750 and the wowzer 1098S!!!
Took the 1098 out. Wow it has a very very strong engine!! keeping the front tire on the ground was a struggle, on a very very FLAT track! can't wait to try Pacific and Spokane with the bumps and hills!!!
The suspension was a slight issue. the front was pretty vague and seemed to have trouble staying compliant over mid corner bumps...
Of course, I had NO sag in the bike. Is the pre-load cranked up by the factory?
I only did one session because I'm not ready to send this beautiful bike skipping down the track on its side (or worse...) and it seemed to beg to me to ride harder, faster and go deeper on the brakes...
But I have to say it was very fun to ride!!!
But honestly the 750 handled the mid corner bumps much better...Penske rear, GP font and the sag set appropriately probably had something to do with that.
