Hello everyone. Took the plunge today and ordered a 1098S. Saw it at my dealer today (they had one on display before it goes to the Long Beach bike show) and just couldn't resist. It had the CF goodies on it, nose and tail. It was gorgeous and just screaming my name. :biggrin What's a guy supposed to do?

Can't wait till February.

Welcome to the forum dude. I probably saw you today if this was at Spectrum Ducati in Irvine. What time were you there? I wish they hadn't put the carbon fiber nose on the thing because it was too distracting, but to each his own. I can't wait for them to announce the 2nd color of the 1098 base because whatever it is I want it. Are you going to the Spectrum Trackday @ Fontana in January?

Yep, it was at Spectrum. I was there around 11am this morning. Not going to make the Fontucky track day in Jan unfortunately. I'll be out of town for work.
