I think they forgot to put oil in it! :lmao

That's pretty guttsy to go 160+ mph on wet pavement like that with standing water. :duh

I like the red shift lights on the upper right of the gage cluster. Wonder how many RPM each light represents? I'm thinking maybe 100 RPM per light? You can see the first one flicker for a split second a few times in top gear when he hits some standing water.

The "wet pavement" you refer to is what looks like the main runway at Bruntingthorpe Airfield, which is a favourite with bike and car magazines for speed testing vehicles as it is almost two miles long, plenty to get up to max speed of most bikes and cars (good enough for a 747 so I guess it is, as there is one parked there). The standing water or "puddles" probably add to the misery of testing bikes in the UK at this time of year. Maybe we should get the US rags to invite some brit journos over to speed test on a nice warm dry US military base's runway
