If you have a double sided stand, you can buy the Motovation sliders that allow you to use the double sided stand...

Good call, they look great. Prefer the double sided stand to the single less chance for stuff ups.

I wish I had known that... I already had a double sided stand and bought one for the 1098S when I got it. I probably wouldn't have bought another stand if I'd seen that...
Personally though, now that I have a single sided stand I like the way it goes into the rear axle. Compared with the double sided one, it feels more secure when raising/lowerinig the bike off/onto the side stand by yourself. I've always hated the way you sort of have to balance the bike while you line up both sides of the double sided stand, but the single sided you just plug into the axle and lift (gently).
Just my opinion...

Ok… items look good.
But since it utilizes the rear axle how do you use it if you want to remove the tire or sprocket? I don’t think this product would work for typical maintenance for tire or sprocket removal.
If so, wouldn’t you need the single sided stand for the tire or sprocket removal?

Good points Joey , but its fine for my needs. Tyre changes are done by the shop and if i'm changing chain/sprockets i make sure they coincide with the tyre changes , so no problem.
Having the stand just makes it easier for me to rip the fairings off for oil /filter changes , lubing /cleaning chain and detailing the bike etc.

they only take about 10 seconds to get on or off, so no big deal about sprockets/tyre removal....
