Well, X27 & i joined the SCDOC for a bloody big ride yesterday...
We left Macca's at Albion Park about 8:30, and headed up Macquarie Pass, Robertson, then across through Fitzroy Falls and cut down through Bundanoon, and onto Marulan...
A 20 minute fuel /food/coffee stop, and we headed off again down through Bungonia into the outskirts of Goulburn, and then cutoff towards Braidwood.. a pretty quick run across to Braidwood, (1 highway patrol, which we were warned about..)
We stopped at Braidwood for 5 minutes to re group, and then off for another fast run down the mountain (x's fuel light came on as we started to come down the mountain) to Nelligen Pub for lunch, where there were about 20 guys n gals from the South Coast..
We then stopped for about an hour (X had to go get fuel) for lunch, and then headed off again... down to Batemans Bay, then north towards Nowra, for another fast run up the coast, a quick top up just north of Batemans and off again... we then ended up at Jamberoo Pub, about 5pm... quick stop and more fuel in Albion Park, we all parted company (think there were 5 of us left by then) and i started the run home in the dark... back home about 6:30, exhausted... all in all, a fantastic day, great roads, and great company! Thanks Guys... X27, good to meet you, catch up again soon...
